Letter from the Mayor
It arrived today and reads as follows:

Dear Jeffrey:
Personally, and on behalf of the City Council, it gives me a great deal of pleasure to notify you that you have been appointed to the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Alternate Place 2, to serve a two-year term to expire in 2007.
Your willingness to [sic] devote your time and talents to the City in this worthwile position is sincerely appreciated by the entire City Council.
If we can be of service to you, please do not hesitate to call.
